I thought how cool would this be to actually load up the family and meet other family members at some of these places and start scratching these off. We have lived in Texas practically our entire lives and I bet we haven't been to a quarter of these places!!!

Love it! But I think we can make our own "better" list. Things we always talk about doing, or see in a magazine and want to do, but haven't yet.

Ok, one place I've always wanted to go...well for a couple of years anyway. Ft Davis and the Indian Lodge. There is a National Park and actually the Marfa Lights are not too far. It's an 8hr drive for us and for you guys and I think would be a pretty drive too.
ReplyDeleteThen 3 hours from there to Big Bend and Lajitas...there's apparently a Beer Drinking Goat that is the Mayor of the town!!!
Gotta go to Big Bend and I've never been to Lukenbach...lame I know!!! I'll think of my own list and we'll put one together!!!
